George Copeland is an actor based in New York City, where he trained at both the William Esper Studio and Columbia University’s MFA acting program. George has had the privilege of working with a variety of talented creatives in New York, from productions with emerging playwrights to the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of King Lear.

Before beginning his journey as an actor, George was a biology major and spent much of his time traveling the natural world, including Baja California and South Africa, working both in biological research and as a safari guide. George is also an avid climber, and has reached the summit of the highest peaks on four continents, including Antarctica. George resides in Queens with his partner and two cats.
